FESTAC POLICEMAN IS INFORMANT TO ROBBERY GANG, VICTIM OF GANG REVEALS • CP Alabi orders arrest of policeman

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi has ordered the immediate identification and arrest of a rogue policeman said to be an informant to robbery gang in Festac.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers NAOSNP, by the Command’s Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin stated that, “The attention of the Lagos State Police Command has been drawn to the above titled publication in Vanguard Newspaper of March 19, 2022.”

According to Hundeyin, “The Command wishes to inform the general public that upon receipt of the information, the Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc, mnim, psc ordered the immediate identification and arrest of the rogue police officer.”

“The CP has vowed that any police officer found undermining the tireless efforts of the Command to rid Lagos State of crime and criminality would be appropriately sanctioned.”

Meanwhile, CP Alabi has assured Lagos residents that their safety and security remains paramount to the Command and as such, no stone will be left unturned to ensure same.
